I'm an hour into my second voyage this year and nada. I have a 16' tiller, so my weather window is limited lol. Any info would be appreciated, im gonna hang in till after dark. Water temp is up over 10° since last week. Running the usual spring coho stuff, but nothin so far!!!!! Marking lots of stuff at 15 to 20', but you know how that goes.

Your best bet is to drive straight north east from east Chicago and stop in about 50 fow which is approx 8 miles and put some baits at the bottom for lake trout. The cohos are pretty much gone and have moved north. There are a few stragglers around but not enough to target at this time.
It's better to ask forgiveness than for permission.

We went out and started 1/2 mile off Gary light we got 2 coho during the first set and went out to the Gong on a straight troll. The other 4 fish came on that trip 2 on DF and the rest on spoons I never tried for Lakers I stayed in th top 30 feet.
