Fished the pro am tournament today with will jun and big ed from our site. We had a respectable outing considering I had no info on where fish were or was I able to prefish. We took second place on the amateur side and would have placed middle of the pack on the pro side. We left Michigan city and ran to Chicago waters fished 75 to 50 fow slightly north east of soldier field. We ended up with just over 40 lbs 3 lakers in the 9 to 10 lbs range a 10 lbs steelhead and a coho. Fishing in that area is hotter than a fire cracker for lakers but silver are Scattered and not there in big numbers.

Nice job getting on some quality fish. Looks like there was a 25lb fish caught on Break Time.

Yes it was a 25# King. Some nice kings came it today - we were beat in the Am division by a boat with 5 Kings.

There were some massive hauls taken. There are some very impressive fisherman on that side of the lake. They make us weekend guys that do well look like chumps lol. There is so much to learn still it is not funny.

Learning to be better is the best part of great lakes fishing IMHO. Love it!
