It's getting late in the game, but the fat lady isn't singing yet. The lake is trying to flip and the stream temps are definitely getting hot. Ideal conditions to stack up a few fish outside the Ditch and MC. I went for it tonight in my little kayak. Just as the sun dipped below the horizon with the bugler sounding Tapps my lucky Frenzy got ripped. After about a 10 minute tug of war I landed my first ever kayak king. He was pretty dark, maybe 15lbs, but dragged me around pretty good. I was the only "boat" fishing. Gritted it out another hour after dark, but it was just too damn spooky with just a head lamp on and a few go fast boats still heading in and out of the harbor. Lot of fun, but not worth getting run over. Wish I had a way to get a couple better pics, had my hand full.
