My son had soccer games in the mornings over the weekend so my buddy and I thought we could squeeze in an afternoon "sunset cruise" trip by inviting the wives. We just "happened" to cruise over to the wreck from Portage where we "happened" to drop a couple of lines which at the point the girls were on to us. They allowed us to fish until they caught two nice Cohos which was about 45 minutes, which they then decided it was time to make it an official sunset cruise back to Portage. Just when we thought we had them fooled.....

A friend and I did a sunset cruise in Islamorada like that once. They sniffed us out when they saw the captain loading up the bait well on the boat. Still had fun - the girls had a thermos of Margaritas up on the bridge. Doug and I had our hands full catching sharks and tarpon on the deck.
