Headed out this morning with a friend and my aunt that's been asking to go for a while. This morning the lake had a salmon chop but very fishable. we started at the wreck and pushed north ended up fishing east and west from 60 fow to 80 fow ended up 15 for 23. Our last fish was a laker that we threw back looking to finish with a silver fish but was unable to finish the limit off today. Meat rigs and spoons did best. Mag Carmel dolphin was a stud.

Yes it is Ed. She has been wanting to go for a while now but I've been waiting for the perfect day when fishing is good. But we all know how trying to plan that goes. I said screw it if you want to go let's go and we will deal with what ever happens. It worked out well she had a blast. I was worried the big north blow yesterday was going to mess fishing up but it just scattered the fish a bit. But anytime you can go offshore and catch over 2 hands it's a good day.

Sounds like a killer day. I ran a mag caramel dolphin for hours thursday as you suggested Bill. Never got bumped. It is a Dreamweaver. What are you running? I had it on a dipsy and a 150 copper to try and make something happen.

I have dream weaver and stinger Carmel dolphin spoons but I am fairly confident I was running the stinger version. I had it on a 250 copper and it was hot. I also had it on a slider on the rigger down 36 I think it took one hit. But on a 150 it's normally one of my go twos
