Left east Chicago at 5 am. Headed to 46,22 and dropped lines. Steady pick at the cohos as the waves were building. Greens and blues were taking fish, mostly only on the riggers.

Ended up 9 for probable 15. 6 chunker coho 3 lake trout. One trout was the biggest I've ever caught. Came in on a rigger, plus a coho hit the slider half way through the fight. The lake trout weighed 20 pounds!

Good day on the water. Also caught an alewife on a 300 copper, Mag Carmel dolphin.

Nice job today it sound like a lot of boats struggled out there today. We may have seen each other this morning at the launch and I was fishing the same general area but ended up farther north of you by the end of the day. That laker is a beast.
It's better to ask forgiveness than for permission.
