Took the fiance and one of our pool team friends out this morning. Seen the surface temps were low 60s and cold water only 30 feet down so motored out to 50 fow and setup trolling into the not so 1 to 2s that were forecast. Made it out to 90 and spun to troll with the waves for the rest of the morning.

Went 4 for 8 and lost some fish we should of not lost but oh well thats how the crew learns for next trip.

Landed 2 steelies that were full of piss and vinegar today. 1 laker 1 fatty coho packed with ales.

Lost 1 steelie 1 laker and 1 coho the other 2 never seen.

Best depth was 90 to 100 30 to 50 down. Lakers came off bottom green sd and spn n glow. Silver fish came on 0 dodger green fly dipsey out 95, wire diver green nbk sd and green fly, lastly swr down 35 bloddy nose mag silver streak. The waves bouncing between the pier heads will be in my nightmares tonight.

Lol thanks guys...she's the best catch of them all. She has to be to marry a fisherman especially a great lakes fisherman.. We put our woman through a lot to go chase silver bullets but hey thats the name of the game...now what next to go spend money on for the boat?

Nice work. I would've taken just a lick on a long he today. I ended up going out of New Buffalo and got skunked. By the sounds of the radio traffic, everyone was struggling. It was a pretty rough ride for sure. Definitely not the 1-2 footers forecasted.

I can see it now, the Southend's first boat with a nursery and a coast guard approved infant fighting chair. Heck I had to buy my wife a porta potty for my Searunner. I did not see that one coming either. Still a small price for my pursuit of fun.
