Heading out in the morning out of portage with my two younger brothers any tips on where the fish are at would be appreciated thank you in advance.

The last time I was out there good number near the wreck. I would think straight north of portage in the 75 to 120fow should produce but have not heard of a report out of that area in a while.
It's better to ask forgiveness than for permission.

I'm still deciding where I want to go Sunday between Portage and New Buffalo. Haven't had spectacular luck on my friend's boat at either place, but I'm running a smaller rig than he is, so I'll be looking to stay a tad closer to shore.

I'll be out of st joe in the a.m. deep water closer to shore if you dont want to go far out. There has been a good amount of fish around too
