knowing there were still steel in close I decided to give the ditch a try. On the set we took about a 8lbs Steelie on a 50 copper super slim pink and red spoon. Fished for another hour with no bumps and I did not see any nets drop. There were probably 15 boats around going every which way. I then ran offshore I set up shop straight east of burnham harbor in 90 feet of water. We ended up fishing from that 90fow to 70 feet of water. Picking away at coho landed a steel head and 2 nice kings. I would say 8 out of the 12 fish I caught today come on wire divers with meat rigs out 85 and 100.

lol Steve and thank you for the compliment. I love hunting for offshore silver in the summer time. It's even better when the hunt pays off and you look around and you are all by yourself without another boat in sight.

I can say with 100% assurance, do not look for fish over a depth of 100' lol
