TOPIC:

Used to fish off shore all the time and many a Great trip. Since I don't eat salmon we've been focusing on what perch we can catch and I've spent a decent amount of time in Lake Erie filling my freezer with walleye fillets. Wanted to try for some perch yesterday, But one of my fishing buddy's ( NOAH on this board ) wanted to try salmon badly. So we hooked up my Ranger and off we went. Got on the fishing grounds about 4:00Pm. For us it was the dead sea. UNTIL, I Smolt my pride and asked for a program on the radio. A nice gentleman out of the ditch gave us what we needed ( Smaller Spoons) and 1/2 mile move to the west. within 10 minutes of his advice, we had triple. Caught some more after that. That Made it a fun afternoon. Lots of bait. I'm guessing those fish will stay as long as the bait does. DR's 25-50 ( Small Spoons) 5 color lead took a few ( Lemon Ice)
The dipsy's never took a hit after many adjustments.
