Got out Saturday early ,ran out to the Indiana ,Michigan line. Set our lines by 5:30 and it was on. We fished 65 fow. To75 fow. We used flies and Dodgers, and spoons both regular and mag. Spoons. It did not seem to matter what we had out they were hitting it. We had 2 doubles and a rare triple. With fish and rods flopping around on the bottom of the boat it was a train wreck in the making.( the kind of wreck as a fisherman you dream of ) when it was over we ended up with 13 coho 1 young king 1 laker. We lost a steelhead that gave us a show before it threw the hook. We trolled back and fourth trolling northeast and southwest and back again. Our speed was 2.6 mph. At the ball. Our down riggers were set from 30'-50' all with sliders. On our boards we ran 10&7 color and 150&100 copper. Hands down the best 3 hours of fishing I have had on the lake in a long time. It is fun to be at the right place at the right time. Good fishing and stay safe.

I think I may have hooked into your Steelie as well. He was quite the showman before he broke the line :)

My cousin and I were discussing our Saturday outage tonight and the biggest mistake we keep making is leaving fish to find fish. I think if we stayed where we started and had fish and not kept going West we would have limited out pretty early. I agree that this weekend has been the best fishing day in a while although I did really enjoy the lakers we got on memorial day. Glad st see so many good reports this weekend.
