How bad are the waves out by the tri state area got a late call to go work but I'm trying to go out for the afternoon have an 18 ftr any info would be great

Woke up at 4 checked the wave forecast and wind. Stayed tied up at the dock and went back to sleep. Its blowing hard in st joe. Choppy out there small craft warning today.

it was not to bad this morning but by the time we were heading back to portage (around 11:30) it was brutal and getting worse.

It was a good morning on the lake though for the Silver fish. It was worth jarring my fillings loose for the hour ride back :)

Thanks guys I made it out n had a hard time trolling by the ditch for skamanians super tough trolling west so we went to a beach n had a few cold ones no drive bys no nothing
