The Wildkat 2 went out Tuesday from Portage. We had no info to go on so we needed to check around. We started in 40 fow just north of the water tower. Zig zaged in & out all the way to the Gary light. Caught 1 5# brown on a DF on a dipsey. We then headed N to NE. Long dead troll the with the only brite spot was that the water seemed much cleaner than the 9 or 10 days since we had been out. The water was 55 to 57 degrees in closer but still NO bait fish anyplace we went. Water was down to 51 on the surface in 70', we'll be putting the probe on for the rwest of the season. As we moved out and got to 70 fow we popped a coho on a 150 copper. Then a fat laker about 60 down, then another coho and another laker and then a 3rd coho. So in about 30 min we landed 3 ho's and 2 large Lakers. (lakers were released) Sky's were getting darker and our time was up for the day so we headed in. Still in Indiana waters. All fish but the brown came on spoons. But we know now that there are still silvers in Indiana.
