Trusted the weather man who predicted a nice morning..and he nailed it. Beautiful morning, calm wind and waves, so was able to get little 16 footer out.
We managed to put 6 coho in the live well and lost enough we could've got our 10.
Fished about 4 hours and best action was mid morning out in the clean water. Water onshore was pretty churned up.
Simple 6 rod spread, 2 boards, 2 dipseys, and 2 flatlines. All action on the surface lines. Thinfish good early, and J-11's better late. Size was pretty small considering some of the pics I've seen this spring.
They're going to taste great this week though. Hope to get out a few more times when wind/waves dictate, hopefully when and if some kings show up.
Thanks "dogsbestfriend" for the heads up info, much appreciated.

Ended up less than limit aboard friend's boat on Sun., too. Awesome eating fish, especially the first ones of the season.
Gold Thin Fish ended up getting hit more than red and other colors.

I fished out of the ditch Sunday, ended the day with 3 coho and a laker losing a few others. Gold was by far the most productive for us as well. Gold thin fish and gold/black hot-n-tot took all three coho.
