As I said in an earlier post, I was planning a trip to the Calumet Harbor area. It was a smooth move since the worst I had to contend with was a 3-inch wave, though even when I trolled through the Gap and out into the open lake it wasn't bad.

Fish? Yes there are fish "over by dare." Worked the whole area but the best action was along the detached wall and the Gap. Pulled a slightly-larger-than-the-coho brown in front of the river. Took advantage of the weather and I wanted a chance to run the new motor a bit so we powered over to the Hole-in-Wall and reset lines there. Slightly better action over by dare with fish scattered from hole to first light.
