Got out at the crack of noon today, set lines about half way to Gary. Had are first fish in the boat before the second rod was set. Don't think it's anything like that morning bite tho but we ware able to get are 3 man limit. Took us till about 5 to get them. Sounded like it was the same for everyone on the radio. Thin fins were best by far today but we took a few on the riggers as well. DNR was at the ramp checking everyone when we got back in and said we were the only boat he had checked with a limit so I think we did pretty good.

Similar report from my boat. Launched at 1 and pulled a 3 man limit east of Gary light around 5:00.

Nice job; I think we spoke on the radio today.

We ended up with 7 fish in the boat and I think my rookies enjoyed the day!
