Went out of portage last minute tonight , set lines at about 5 45, all the normal coho baits. Worked big circles out in front of the mouth till dark. Had a very skunky smelling ride back up the ditch. Sure was a nice night on the lake tho compared to last Sunday. We'll be back out Sunday morning to try for a 4 man limit. Think we'll start at Gary light. Anyone else heading out sunday morning??

Strong work! Glad to hear they're still hanging around. Our speeds were very similar 2.5-2.9.

The other day I was targeting high 2's as well in my speed, I dropped it down closer to 2.0 and seemed to do the ticket it was shortly after the action turned on.... maybe a coincidence though

Usually slower end of the 2s is better this early

We have much more action the closer we get to 3.0 maybe it's the baits I run compared to the bait others use.

Remember, it's getting close to tournament time. I troll at 1/2 mph. Worms don't like it much faster than that!!!
