Has anyone been out jigging for lake trout? I have been out on the ice and have not had chance to get out on the big lake. Looks like good weather coming this weekend so may give it a shot

I think Ralph has been out some when possible. Not sure if anyone else has been. Havent really seen any chatter.

Does anyone have coordinates for the artificial reef by portage? I'm going to go out tomorrow and try and jig for some lakers

The reef coordinates are on the site under RESOURCES. Topo lake map, expand the map and it should be the second light green spot west of the chesterton area. Click on the spot it will say reef and give the gps numbers.

The reef runs parallel to the north wall of the Port. You can't really miss it.

Did not get out fishing today due to the heavy fog by my house this morning. Did not want to pull the boat for 45 minutes in heavy fog
