Headed due North out of Portage at 11am today, to pre-fish for a trip Friday morning with friends from out of state. Set down at 65 FOW, 2 DR, 2 Wire divers, a 200 & 250 Copper. Had a good break in temp at 35 to 40 down with 50 degree water. (Wish it had been cooler in the boat than it was.) Ran an assortment of spoons, on all, also tried a Spin Doctor & Fly. Tried DR from 40 to 65 down, and wire divers out from 125 to 200 on 2.5 settings. Tried from just over 2mph to 3mph at the ball (didn't detect much current). Continued to troll North to 100 FOW, then headed back South. The results were No Drive-bys, NO fish Period! Did mark a few fish, not much bait, but graph was pretty blank. Hoping things go better tomorrow with an early start. Hope this helps somebody plan their trip.

Thanks for the report, my plan was to try similar tomorrow storms permitting. When I was out there early yesterday there was plenty of marks early, then by mid morning it was nothing.

Went out after work with my dad (dmv) and my buddy Pete (love to fish) went two for three two nice koho's roughly 4lb and close to 7 or 8 didn't weigh. 55-60 fow north east of ditch.
