Can't believe this my first trip out since late March. But did finally and due to windy forecast, decided to stay in close for steelies. Only went 1-1 but boxed a screaming 10 pounder on orange crush spoon off a board. Not bragging by any means, but literally was the only fish I seen caught. The shore fishermen were quiet and the 1/2 dozen trollers were in search mode, as I was. Hope the action remains offshore and weather cooperates, I'd sure like a piece of it. Thanks for the posts and keeping us informed. Wish I could make the tourney July 2 but that's a work day for me with no way to take off.
