On the water by 6:00 AM with my neighbor who has no experience on the big pond so started E of the R4 and made one pass through the mouth of the harbor then seen ships coming in so trolled ENE to 50 FOW hsf onr on downrigger for a short time but came unbuttoned. Turned N. and trolled to 70 FOW just South of the state line picked up a laker and a coho on that run but seen no marks or bait. Decided to try North of the gong so pulled lines and headed that way trolled to ILL line, turned and trolled toward the ditch for a few miles with nada. Pulled lines and headed in at 1:30.

Sorry I can't give a better report but it is what it is.
