TOPIC:

First thing in the morning we headed out to 65'-70' of water and began to set lines. We didn't even have 4 lines set when a 5 color lead core goes off. We might be off to a nice start. Nope....Sheephead. The sheephead was followed by a 6lb Laker and then a skinny coho that looks like it had not ate in 2 months.

We ran back in to shallower water around the ditch around 8 am and picked up a nice 6-7 lb King on a 150 copper with a std lemon ice spoon as we were setting lines again. The quick action was soon forgotten as another long dry spell kicked in. We moved a few miles west to the beach by Gary and picked off a 12lb King and a few more Coho. The King was in 35' feet of water and hit a meat rig.

We ended up with 2 Kings, 4 Coho, a laker, and 2 Sheephead.....And almost hooked a kite surfer

Nice report, sometimes you just wish you had an old heavy spoon with no hooks to throw. I think he would get the message.

Thank you for the report. Sometimes I wish we could punish people like the old days, with a good rock throwing, some people like that need it. The lake is dangerous enough without idiots like that around.

He was within 15' of cutting between 4 Walleye boards...All I could do was shake my head.
