You should've been here yesterday....
That's the story of my big lake outings (not including spring coho). I went out of the ditch yesterday and fished 45-79 fow ran spoons from 21-39 down and 25-45 back all colors and a flatline. I went 0-1 on the flatline I was messing around with something. looked up and it had released off my board. Never felt the fish but am pretty sure it was a fish.
Other than that it was a pretty good day on the lake until the wind switched off shore around 5. Holy crap did it get nasty in a matter of minutes, I've been out there when it's been rough but this gave a whole new meaning to the words pucker factor.

Sounds like one of those tuff days. I wonder if the fish felt the barometer change coming with the wind switch and had shut down? Glad to hear you made it in safe and sound!

The barometer was pretty stable so that should be a plus. I personally think the fish are scattered near shore and you just have to wander into some and then work that area - at least thats my opinion from what I experienced over the weekend personally and listening to the radio........or maybe they took a trip somewhere lol.

I think you are right Jeff. It's matter of getting over the top of them and then work that area!
