Had my first trip of the year to Lake MI yesterday. Fished with a good buddy out of Portage. We got a late start around 8 am. Our best action came after lunch. All coho, we went 5/8. Best action was 15-23' down over 53-55' of water. It was a spoon bite. We took fish on 3 color and dipsey set at 23', gold/orange and dirty white boy were the hot colors. Marked lots of fish 20-40' down over 50-60' of water between Gary Light and the Port. Active fish seemed to be the ones up top. Ran evertything we had off he riggers and never had a release on those deeper fish.
