The wind put a kill on my perch idea for Saturday morning. Ended up going down to Maxi. Took the family. Fished roughly from 11 till 1:30. Managed a few. Through back a bunch of real small ones and two 12in catfish.

Some good lookin gills there. Get em in the main lake or back in the channels?

I have only fished there about a total of 4 times. So I don't know the main Lake too well. I have one go-to spot I found. In a back Channel. there's a low hanging tree. And we've done real good under it before. Tried some other spots back in the channels
nothing. 79° back in there. The main Lake was extremely rough with the wind and all the weekend boat traffic. Would definitely like to try to figure it out and go after those walleye someday
