Hey Guys and Gals,

For those of you that use the ArcelorMittal Plant 2 Overpass to access East Chicago(Pastrick) Marina there will be a closure of the Overpass starting next week(7/17) or shortly there after. The Overpass will be closed for repairs to the bridge and resurfacing for several months is the word I received. Access wil only be available using the Casino exit and overpass down Aldis Ave to Marina Drive. Now that the marina is open for use just thought I would pass this info on so you dont get caught in the wrong lane with the boat behind you as Cline ave traffic can sometimes be an adventure.

Wonderful.... maybe I will try out whiting boat club if I understand correctly it is 100 bucks for the year and you have free access to the place. Thank you for letting us know.

I got an email today updating progress with dates so thought it would help posting here also. Basically what it means is ALL TRAFFIC going in and out of the Mill and Marina area will have to use the Ameristar exit off of cline. Be Careful and patient I guess, main shift changes are 630-7am and 230-3pm.

Thanks for the heads up. It may be a pain for a while, but the bridge repair is long over due.

I just wish they'd open Cline all the way through to Riley Rd or Indy Blvd so it would be a quick trip to Hammond Marina from EC Marina.

Anyone know the status of that bridge repair?

Just an update. Well it didnt close during the week but looked like they were going to close the bridge fairly soon when I left on Friday afternoon.
