TOPIC:

East Chicago's net pen team made their annual trip over to Mixsawbah yesterday morning. There they helped set the outside pond up for the Kings to be extracted and loaded into the stocking truck. Really good to see our fishermen jumping in and helping in this effort and the strong team work. 1/2 of the king allotment goes into net pens and are fed by the EC fishermen. The other half will be delivered at a later date and night stocked directly into the East Chicago marina. Great job fellas!!!!!!

Thanks Ed. It was great to work with the guys yesterday. I remember hearing about the net pen some 25 years ago. It's great to see it come to life. I want to thank all that helped with this project come to life.
