Congrats on the new rig. I don't think you'll be sorry. I had the 196 (pic beside my name) l I fished out of up there for 10 years and loved it, the 21 is a heck of a boat, it'll handle whatever you want to be out there in.

Sorry you had those issues with the AQ.  I've been on AQ pontoons several times and was always impressed. The only thing I ever questioned was how "loose" it would be after 10 or 15 years of Great Lakes use.  After one year?  Bad deal.  Good luck with the new boat. I hope you don't mind but I copied your post and sent it to the owner of Angler Qwest.  (I know him.)  Sometimes the guys at the top don't really know what's going on at the retail level or dealer level.  Will be interesting what develops from here.  I hope your 21 starcraft has a better ride than the 21 foot aluminum boat I owned back in the 90s.  I hated it and was thrilled when I finally got it sold.  

Glad you liked the 196 amd it's reassuring that it performed well on big water.  The 210 looks to be a good fit for me .    Can't wait to get out in it and start dialing everything in.

Thanks BN, Brad seems like a pretty nice guy.  Unfortunately they let my rig slip through the cracks,  it shouldn't have even been allowed to leave Apex. I will stress that my marina, L&R marine in Shipshewana,  have been great to me and had my back the whole time.  My boat was also not the only problem- my trailer from Hoosier  trailer,  is complete garbage,  so much so that in May my marina said I'd be getting a new one.  Well now Hoosier says they only heard the problem in September and i probably couldn't get a trailer until June.  Too much stress , I had to make a move and start over.  As far as aluminum boats go,  I've owned a 87 Lund 18 ft Tyee and a 20.5 Baron- I thought those were decent enough rides- anxious to see how new aluminum hulls perform.
