So with a heavy heart I decided to part ways with my 2021 Angler Qwest 822 Pro Fish n Cruise. It wasn't an easy decision but with the company dragging their feet on the multiple warranty issues I just felt that it was best to get out of it now. Basically the rig shouldn't have passed quality inspection before leaving the factory. Multiple in floor stripped bolts holding my T tops and seat posts on, wrong port side panel installed and what really infuriated me- the portside tracks riveted on instead of being through bolted because holes were drilled too close to support so you couldn't get a nut on the bolts. Also multiple rivets popping out on the aluminum underskin, I just figured if this is happening after the first full year, what's it going to be like 5, 10 years from now?It's a shame because the boat fished so well, I still love the concept and I hope with the new models coming out Angler Qwest tightens up their quality control. I was lucky that my Marina had a Starcraft Fishmaster 210 on the showroom floor that was unspoken for. After alot of deliberation I decided to make the move. I updated my signature to the future rig. I should have the boat mid to late March, perfect timing for the coho run by me, then April jigging and trolling on Erie. I think i have all the bells and whistles on this rig, excited to be adding a Talon and Lowrance autopilot, 16 and 12 Lowrance Carbon units, Lowrance 3d module. These are all upgrades over what I had a year ago. Hopefully this is the last boat I will be purchasing, well at least for 10 years when i will hopefully be making Marblehead Ohio my retirement home and have a slip at a marina with a 25 or 27 footer sitting in it.I will be posting a full review after I have the Fishmaster out on the lake.

The fish don’t stand a chance now! They’ll be surrendering with a fight after they see your new weapon. Sounds like it will be a first rate rig.

Curiosity got the better of me and I googled your boat. I must say very impressive boat. Reminds me of a small PT boat without the torpedo tubes and the gun mounts. Looks very stabile, safe, and expensive. Friends and family rig. Get an enclosure for it?

I never had one before, think it will be nice to get out of early spring and late fall wind
