Trail. Usually starts mid June at the pier

Check stocking numbers, but I believe a lot more are stocked in Trail v. Little Cal system. However, there is much more angling pressure on Trail

a handful of fresh Skamania were captured at the weir on Trail last week

Trail gets about 125K skamania yearlings and about 50K winter runs

Little Cal system gets 30K skamania yearlings, about 20-30K skamania fingerlings, 70K winter runs


Little Cal system is just as good, if not better at times, during the winter run. But the water temp is too high for consistently good steelhead fishing June-Sept. That's when you want to fish Trail
