Does anybody have any info on where there is a good and safe place to store a boat around the Portage area? I would like to have an inside place first but would consider outside storage if it was watched well and had a place to hook a battery charger to. Doynes seems to be good, you get a season launch pass with outside storage. Price is good also but it is not what I consider well secure. Just wanting to use it during April through August.

I have had several boats stored at Doynes over the past 10+ years never had any issues with outside or inside storage there. Launch pass comes with inside storage also. I currently have 2 boats stored there 1 inside and 1 outside plus a couple others I keep an eye on when they are out of the water. I recommend Doynes regularly without hesitation.

Do you happen to remember how or what the fee is or it is figured for inside storage? Is there electrical hookups?

There are basic 120v electric hookups in the pole barns. If I remember correctly the Summer storage is a flat rate of 500 for inside storage with launch pass and the winter storage does go by the square footage of the boat. My 17ft is around 500 both summer and winter.
