This little guy was caught about a week ago while fishing on my buddy’s boat (Bob).    Thought it was an alewife but then saw it wasnt.   Is it a coho or king?   Maybe a steelie and their tails aren’t formed yet.   This was caught out in front of the ditch (Portage) in 45 fow.   Woulda posted sooner but had a glitch in my account.   Otherwise, all we caught were drum.

I don't see many fish of this size but my guess is king. A view of the anal fin would help. It appears to have an intact adupois fin, so possibly a wild fish. Too small to be a stocked coho. Quite small, I'd think, to be a king smolt, as well.
