Another tough day on the southern end. Well we decided to set up in 70/75 fow, we trolled to 100 fow without a bump. We decided to come back to shorter water instead of going deeper. Picked our fish up around that 75 fow area. We slowly worked our way to 11 fish. Fished from 6AM-1:15 pm. We worked the area of 65-85 fow seem to be best. Nothing crazy. We loaded one side of the boat up the DF and other side with thin fins. I would say each side did about 50/50 of the work. 1 fish off the slider on the rigger, 1 off the dipsy and rest off the boards with flat lines.nothing deeper than 20ft. 10 coho and 1 nice skam.  Everyone is stumped is to where the fish are. By this time last year I easy had 10 trips with all limits. Maybe getting spoiled??? I’m really not sure. Good luck everyone.

Way to stay with it.

Yeah, we are a little shell shocked so far too.

We went out a couple more times than we posted about. No sense in contribcontributing about nothing.

Maybe it will be a banner summer and fall!!!

I agree. The fish are scattered with no apparent pattern. We went out of NB on 4/17.

Worked all depths for nearly 4 hours and finally picked up one 'ho shallow in 15 fow (orange/gold rattling thinfish). Did see a little bait shallow too.

They’re scattered or out deep right now. I’ve heard of more fish caught out in 200 FOW than in close recently, but that’s a long way to go this time of year. We’ll see if the fishing improves in the next few days or weeks with stable weather.

Went out on 417 also launched out of Burns ditch headed to Gary light with no results ended up at Patsrick got five coho and two browns picked the fish up on jointed rapala and then fins all orange water temperature was 50° should have trolled with dodgers and flies maybe that would have changed things
