Michigan City water is looking gross! Hoping it starts clearing out by Sunday. That is when we plan to be back on the water. Saturday still looking a little too rough for us per Windfinder.

Good luck, hopefully find some decent water. These huge north blows every 3 or 4 days doesn't help matters.

We got on the water as hoped. Unfortunately the wind and waves were pretty stiff compared to what the forecast said. We headed south in hopes to troll back in with them, but after about 20min and soaked from spray, we said heck with it and never even set a line. Headed in and went home to dry out. About a dozen boats were out tho.

With the camera at Michigan City, we could see the conditions got better in afternoon, so we hit the water there. The few boats that were out were heading in as we were heading out. One reported nothing, and one said they got a couple.

We managed one nice coho in a couple hours. Got it on red/black squiggle Thin Fin. Fish is clipped, so we saved the head and will turn it in. 21", 2# 11oz. Fought like it was a beast. Lol.
