TOPIC:

4/19 Made it out to Michigan City in the hopes to finding a few kings.  Early morning started pretty slow and was pretty rough out there, but as the morning went on the lake started to settle down we were able to dial in a decent program going 6/6 on kings.  No giants but a good mix of fish between 10-14 lbs.  Fished between 50-60 feet of water with a faster speed around 2.7 mph being best.  9c mag glow from took 3 kings, mag green jeans on a rigger down 45 took 1, 5c with a mag kc1 took 1 and took 1 on a mag orange crush out 30.  

4/20 Made it out for a quick morning trip before Easter.  Ended up fishing the same depth as the day before and ended with 3 kings between two of us, all though smaller fish with a couple 6 lbs fish and a 10. Mag orange crush 30 out on a dipsy took a fish and mag glow frog on a 9c and 10c took the other two fish.   

Nice to be able to find some kings this year and see them getting caught from East Chicago all the way to St. Joe.  Especially after last year where I felt very little kings showed up on the southend in the spring.
