TOPIC:

4/12 Got out and fished the Coho Cabin Fever Tournament.  Started out of Michigan City and ended up getting our 4 man limit with 19 coho and one 6 lbs King.  About half our fish came on Thin Fish with Firetiger taking about 80% of those fish, and the king was landed on a Firetiger Thin Fish as well.  The other half came on dipsys out 7-9 feet with orange baby spin doctors with flies, with purple/blue/black flies being best. Caught fish from 25-40 fow and 2.5-2.8 mph seemed to be our best speed.  Fish were somewhat scattered but every time we hit one fish it usually turned into a double or triple. We were able to put a decent box together and come in 4th in the tournament.  First time we’ve fished in the tournament, great experience and a lot of fun! 

4/13 What a difference a day can make.  Fished the same area as the day before but just couldn’t find the fish, went 1 for 2 on coho. Seemed like everyone else had very similar results.
