I've often thought that too? You have a fish that technically lives 30+ years and then gets caught and consumed by charter clients and recreational fisherman alike (or at least that's what the government thinks), which to me makes no sense considering it's a fish that's big-time on the advisory consumption list due to it's longevity and exposure to the toxins and PCB's that may still be in the lake from eons ago. Heck, all fish still have advisory consumption risks I believe? Which still begs the question, why continue to stock more lakers on any level? Again, I know we are beating a dead horse here with this laker topic, but the more people chime in, the more continued justifications are made by folks on here to reinforce ending the greaser program. No better time than now, in these times of peril.
