Started late. Ran to 90 feet and set lines by 9:30. Saw 1 boat land 4 cohos, almost simultaneously. Caused us to stay 3 hours and nothing. Trolled south, picked up a king, stayed between 84 and 74 feet and finished 5 for 11. 1 king, 22 lb laker and 3 cohos. 10 color with a black spoon took the laker and a coho. Slide diver on 3 out 58 feet with an orange and green spoon took the king and a coho. Sunny D spoon down 50 took the last coho (John, thanks for the tip).

All but 1 miss came on downrigger releases with no one home. I was running cheaters on each rigger. Does that presentation lead to a lot of misses? I had a lot of slack on the main line to let the spoons travel well back. Should tighten up? Your thoughts are appreciated.

We always have quite a bit of tension on our Riggers and whenever we have a release we are sure to reel like crazy In order to get the slider to go down to the spoon without giving them time to get off. If it is not a slider fish you should know that right away by a screaming drag

After a little internet research, I realize there is a Sunny D spoon from Seaquest and I don't own one. I was using a spoon the color of Sunny D with red accents, like a tequila sunrise.

The black spoon was a Carbon 14, I believe from Moonshine.

Much appreciation to Hooked for the help on the water!

Nice King, wish we hit one of those on Father's Day! Might keep an eye on your GPS, not sure there is any 84' water in Indiana. I got checked a few weeks back and I was right on the line so just a heads-up.
