Going out for the first time salmon (or Laker) fishing tomorrow. Any advise for a newbie.

Were going out of Hammond in the AM.

What kind of equipment do you have? Riggers? Divers? Planers? If we know what you can run we can help you out.

I have a 19' Lund with Riggers, Divers and Planers. Friends with Ray Guzak who helped me get the basics to start. He is saying not many people have been out for info ?

Anything would help thinking may the Gong ?

The Gong has traditionally always been a good place to start. Lakers are most likely the most consistent bite going right. Run your baits down near the bottom for your best chance. It's good to have a few rods with spoons and flies running on the top too for any silver fish that may be out there. Cover water and change up depths until you find the fish.
