Great to hear some info and see people will be headed out this weekend. I'm going Sunday morning out of SJ. I haven't been out since the 4th of July so it's a well anticipated outing. Good luck guys, I'll report what I do.

Rough day for us fishing wise at sj today. Tried the pier heads at sunrise with the 30 other boats. Seen fish boiling and seen 3 landed total then boats spread out and so did we. Trolled out to 90 then back in. Took 1 2 yr old king at 70 fow down 34 on a rigger. That was it. Had 1 other drive by.

Had a huge mess out deep snagged a lost planer board and lead core that he broke off. Took all 3 of my riggers out but i did end up with a free planer board and spoon. No tackle was last just a huge mess. I charter I talk to had 3 this morning deep. Water clarity was not good out even in 90.

I'm iffy on am tournament. I think there gna be some good swells early sat am from the thur and fri blow. 2 or 3 days of northerly winds push the cold water out, not sure why everyone saying the north winds bringing cold water in....I'm talking it over with my partners and discussing whether to fish for fun on Sunday when I think the lake will be more calm. Question mark, question mark...

3 to 4 foot rollers 7.5 sec apart. Not to bad at all.

The winds have been northeast so not coming all the way down the lake. Wind is slowing, turning east, then southeast. Tomorrows forcast is 1-2 footers which is excellent.
