Has anyone fished out of portage today was thinking about possibly heading out this afternoon

I have not heard anything from today yet. Got out yesterday morning for a few hours and went 2 for 2. A king and coho. we were fishing east of the donut.

6/6 3 kings, 2 steelies, 1 small Jack King.

Purple frog SS on a 5 color was best rod 2 steelies and 1 King
Wire 8" white flasher with black fly out 105 took a king
Mixed veg SS on DR slider, main set at 39 , 1 King, and the Jack
Seemed fish were on the shallow side of 50ft with a lot of bait closer to shore
Best area was near state park

Nice goin John ...I've been hearing of charter captains burning up a lot of fuel running out 130fow to get fish and your doing just as well close to shore.

Made it out from 5-8 p. m. Could not get anything to fire. Fished from 35-55' of water straight out of ditch and toward the reef. Tried all the usual suspects. Will be back out in morning to try again - maybe morning bite will be better for me- will post results.
