I agree Jeff. I think in the summer when its a "big fish bowl" port isn't as important. What we can do is just make another poll call something like most frequently/home port. Then we can assume if 60% of the people use portage as their most frequently used port then 60% of the Kings come back to that port in coolers. Thoughts?

I agree. Until we start catching kings staging close to the Ditch, Trail Crick or other stocking/hatching locations, it really doesn't matter. The summer fish could be from Lake Huron for all we know.

If you have not voted, the only way to see the results is to NOT be logged in. While I see this as broken, it is the way poll systems are designed - as to not sway results one way or the other by seeing results before you vote. It is obviously not applicable here but it works the way it was designed. I will see if I can hack the code, but am guessing it might be extremely difficult. So in short, there are two ways to see the results:
1) Log out and check the thread
2) Once you vote you will see the results
Sucks - but right now its what we have. As I have time I will look into it and see what I can do.
Boatless!

Nice job posting the Kings guys! Keep up the good work! So far 80% wild. Very early though but I think the DNR said 65% wild last spring in the southend.

My people caught 4 of the little fellers today and once I told them about the poll, they were almost as excited to see if the next fish was wild or hatchery as they were of the "keepers" they put in the box. Almost. I'd rather have had a few more keepers.

62% wild so far this year. Nice reporting guys keep it up. Was 2012 a high water year when these Kings were born resulting in more natural reproduction?
